Adorable small family owned and run little diner. If you're looking for a home cooked meal this is it! When were were there everyone that came in the waitresses knew by first name, thought that was pretty cool! The breakfasts were huge and the patty melt was tasty!
Karen's Cafe is like Cheers, everyone knows your name! Food was delicious and simple. The restaurant was clean and not fancy. We enjoyed ourselves and look forward to visiting again!

Karen's was the best breakfast spot of our trip. We went twice. The food is great with a good portion size. The service is even better. Nora makes you feel welcomed and I just love her story. The cafe is a small and quaint place. The second visit I had the blueberry pancake which was delicious. Good size for one! If you are in Palm Desert you must go by Karen's Cafe. It is not out in the open but easy to find with your GPS and is worth the find! :-)
